10 Sweaters I’m Eyeing Right Now

Picture this: a cup of coffee in hand - steam rising from the rim, wood and flame dancing in your fireplace in the distance and the hug of a warm, cozy sweater. Sounds like a blissful way to spend your next morning at home, if you ask me!

It’s no secret that I’m not a huge fan of summertime. The bees, beating sun and powerful AC is simply not how I prefer to spend my time; it just isn’t. So, I count down the days as the colder months of the year inch closer and closer; and when that first chill of winter breeze hits, I jump for joy…literally.

The months December, January and February hold amazing things! Christmas, New Years, and Valentines Day continuously stay at the top of my list of favorites and provide a wonderful opportunity to dress up, celebrate and share memories with my loved ones.

And in the days in-between, when I am taking a morning stroll or sitting by the window in a café, I’m often accompanied by the comfort of cotton or wool in the form of one of the most worn items in my closet — a sweater.

If you’re on a search for your next cozy companion, you’re in luck. I’ve rounded up ten sweaters I’m eyeing right now.

$50 cashmere? Sign me up! Quince has gained more and more popularity over the years for their accessibility to affordable, quality materials. I recently added their boyfriend sweater to my collection and truly am obsessed with the quality! I can’t wait to get my hands on this one.

For those of us who are lovers of all things floral, Anthropologie is currently selling this beautifully embroidered black and cream floral sweater. This is a great piece if you’re looking for something unique, but can also be added to a capsule wardrobe and worn with multiple outfits!

All I can say is “wow”. This pullover turtleneck is so chic, and is listed for under $100. Because I wear a lot of black, I’m always looking for pieces that stand out instead of “blending in” to what I already have.

This piece can easily be added to your office outfit rotation, under a blazer for your next special event, or over a dress for a date night or holiday.

This one made the list for two reasons. We all know Abercrombie stepped up their game over the last few years so I wanted to honor that and these pearl inspired buttons are simply the cutest thing I’ve seen all week (aside from my kitty of course — he deserves an honorable mention).

Cheers to another piece that can be dressed up or down, over a t-shirt, under a jacket, with trousers or jeans, and accessorized. All the things we love to see in a versatile piece!

Reformation, we love you. I am constantly pulling style inspiration from their website and socials, and one day I stumbled upon this sweater. Isn’t she divine?

According to their product description, the Garrett Cashmere sweater is made with “high-quality materials like regeneratively grown cotton, recycled cashmere, and traceable wool”. While this sweater is listed at a higher price point, the quality is worth the investment for a piece that is going to last you a very long time.

Pro tip: choose the color you know you are going to wear the most often, and love for a long time!

Introducing another Abercrombie favorite to the list 🎉

Whether you are spending most of your time inside or outside this winter, adding a few layering pieces to your wardrobe is always a great idea! The Slim Rib Turtleneck can be worn under a heavier sweater or jacket for time spent out and about; or easily on its own with a pair of jeans, trousers, or maxi slip skirt. In either case, the addition of a belt can add some nice dimension!

Oh Sézane, you hold the distant dream of a morning in Paris.

The red sweater trend is all over social right now, and I’m not upset about it. A pop of color can do wonders for an outfit, and this cherry red sweater is irresistible to say the least.

An endless number of outfits can be formulated with this piece, but my personal favorite is a white baby tee, dark denim jeans, slim loafers and a chunky gold necklace. It feels fun, looks so cool, and can provide the effortless look so many of us know and love.

If you haven’t seen the Aimee Song x Madewell collab yet, pause and click here. The 11 piece collection is almost like a mini-capsule wardrobe in the sense you can combine the featured pieces together in many ways.

Of all of the pieces in the collection, this brushed v-neck sweater is my top pick!

Once upon a time, I was a neutral wardrobe girlie, but color has slowly started to make its way back into my closet over the last few years — thank goodness. And of all of those colors, blue has been what I have gravitated towards the most.

This Wool Blend Wedge Sweater is my idea of the perfect pullover for a Saturday morning coffee run. Pair it with a skirt, jeans, or even joggers; whatever feels the most comfortable for you that day!

One more for the flower lovers, as I simply couldn’t resist adding this one to the list. I was really impressed when I saw this Anthropologie piece. It feels like the grown up version of something my younger self would have loved when I was picking flowers with my grandma on the weekends.

This sweater is a great piece to keep at your office or in the car. It will pair well with many of your day to day basics and give you that extra little boost of warmth you need from time to time!

There were so many amazing sweaters to choose from, but these ten stood out the most based on color, quality, and uniquity. To the girl who loves a cozy moment — I hope you discovered the next item to add to your wishlist.

Until next time!
